I want to recommend www.Followup101.com. As the owner, I admit to being biased. What caught my attention on this particlar post was the mention of enhanced forms. Followup101.com has the standard point and click on what info you want to add to forms, such as name, email address, physical address, etc.

What makes it different, is that you can also include surveys in the same point and click menu. This allows you to survey your subscribers, but not only can you collect the info, you can actually respond to your prospects with their specific answers.
I have a live example that I quickly put together for a cooking themed giveaway. Instead of just getting the name and email, one of the questions I asked is are you a home cook or professional cook. This allows me to micro target a broadcast mailing only to those who responded with professional cook, home cook or I could mail to the complete list.

Again, since it is my service, I am biased, but I know most survey programs just let you collect data and in general give you feed back such as 33% of the subscribers are professional cooks, but you don't usually know which individuals make up that 33%. Well, followup101 tells you exactly which individual said they were pro cooks, and then lets you send a message specifically to them, and only them. You can see a live use of this at http://www.FreeGiveawayZone.com/veggies/signup.html You do not have to signup. But this example will show you the dropdown list of responses. There is also a fill in the blank option.

Thank you,

Kelvin Brown

Hi Jason,

Thank you very much for the mention of Imnica Mail.

I have to agree that competition is fantastic. It's what drives companies to not only move forward, but, to innovate and expand, which in the end massively benefits the end user.

Email marketing in particular is a very exciting arena at the moment, with more and more businesses looking for better ROI on the advertising budgets.

Yes, social media, etc is gaining a lot of ground, but, it has been proven over and over again that by building a proper list, and building a great relationship with that list will currently, and for the foreseeable future, outperform any social media sites as far as response rates for advertising campaigns are concerned.

Imnica Mail and all other Email Service Providers will continue to innovate and make the whole process easier for the end users, while ALSO continuing to build outstanding relationships with the ISP's to ensure that the emails actually gets delivered to the Inbox.

Glad to know that you also accept imports (on a case by case basis).

Jason, you wrote: "If you already have a double opt-in list from an Imnica competitor, they will consider your list and help with the import."

We do the same thing and always have. We allow on a case by case basis imports of existing subscribers without requring re-confirmation if we can audit the appropriate existing confirmed opt-in data on each subscriber. Just call our Customer Solutions team and we can look at your specific case or anyone else that may be in that situation.
